Lust & Envy (A #beautiesonfire Collab!)

Lust and Envy, two of those Seven Deadly Sins! They seem to strike me (a lot) when I am browsing beauty stuff on the Internet. I’m sure I’m not the only one…

For this week’s #beautiesonfire collab, I figured why not share some of those things I’ve been lusting after? So I went on a little virtual window-shopping trip to Neiman-Marcus. I wanted so so much! The list was whittled down to seven items, finally – though I still want the rest.

1. AmorePacific Age Correcting Foundation CushionBroad Spectrum SPF 25 – $80.00

I have been lusting after AmorePacific’s cushion foundation for ages now. I’ve tried a couple other brands, but they just don’t seem that great to me. I would love to try this, but $80.00 just to see if something works out for me is a bit steep. (Even though it can be returned!)

2. Estee Lauder Limited Edition Intuitive Octopus Powder Compact – $175.00

There’s a whole collection of these powder compacts, including seahorses, stars, and other pretty patterns. For some reason, this octopus caught my eye. I’m not even into octopi – but the blue and gold are gorgeous together, I think.

3. Laura Mercier Limited Edition The Iconics Collection: Celebrating 20 Years of Iconic Artistry ($263 value) – $170.00

I am in love with this case! All the little drawers, the wonderful makeup products from Laura Mercier, everything! I can totally see this on my dresser with small bits of jewelry inside. But then… $170.00. Ouchies.

4. Laura Mercier Limited Edition Iconic Leading Lady ($53.00 value) – $38.00

On the smaller end of the Laura Mercier things. A lip duo set of Velour Lovers Lip Color lipstick and Lip Glacé lip gloss in three offered shades: Catherine (the nude shade), Sophia (the rose shade, pictured – and what I would grab), and Vivien (the beautiful red shade). At $38.00, I might be able to swing this!

5. Christian Dior Limited Edition 5 Couleurs Eyeshadow Palette, Skyline Collection – $63.00

I have always had a total thing for anything Christian Dior. These gorgeous colors are no exception!

6. Christian Dior Rouge Dior – $35.00

These are their newest lipsticks, no available in stores yet. The one shown is Color 644 – Sydney. Mine should arrive on Tuesday. Because you know I went ahead and bought one straight off their website when they began selling them only from Dior. Please – it’s literally saying my name!

7. Monogrammed Silk Sleep Mask – $59.00

How many times have I seen a leading lady in an old movie sleeping with one of these??? I want! This mask is offered in gray, celadon, blue (shown), and pink. Talk about a restful night’s sleep, or even just a sweet nap wearing one of these! Talk about a great addition to some pampering. I want!
