Blogging Challenge: Day 13 – What’s To Eat?

“What’s in your fridge?”

I am so not going to list everything in the refrigerator downstairs. I’ll give you some of the things, though:

  • bacon
  • Trader Joe’s Real Mayonnaise
  • Coffee Mate sugar free peppermint mocha and sugar free sweet Italian cream
  • left over Chinese delivery
  • a couple bags of petite carrots – I love munching them
  • jicama sticks, for the same reason
  • Trader Joe’s Mediterranean Hummus
  • less than a dozen eggs, fresh from the farm every Friday – we get them at the farmers’ market
  • Amish roll butter
  • mustard
  • shredded cheese, probably from Trader Joe’s, too
  • a bottle of red wine
  • Trader Joe’s Honeycrisp Apple Cider – YUMMMMM
  • some teriyaki sauce
  • a head of lettuce
  • some sliced turkey from Trader Joe’s that Hims will give to the cats for a treat
  • an old wine cooler from early summer – that’s mine
  • some ground beef

And various other little bits. I think my refrigerator sounds rather tame, don’t you? No champagne (unless I missed it in the back…), no exotic foods. No makings of a spectacular feast. Wait for a week or two, though! Thanksgiving!

Syd is a Midwestern girl who doesn’t think the term “girl” is sexist in the least – especially after she left her 20s. She holds a huge love for history (from WWI through the end of WWII, Victorian, Regency, and Elizabethan eras), some science fiction, and likes to pass the time reading, working with photography and needlework, and writing things. Lots of things. Syd likes to dance, too, but she looks like an utter goob doing so!
